How this helps

You pay a small membership fee but more importantly, you give moral support to the many people who give their effort freely to the work of the FFII family of organisations.

To join the FFII you make an online request. This goes to the FFII board, which checks the request and if it's valid, tells you you're accepted. Since we're popular with some industry lobbyists, they also try to join, we keep these out. The board usually decides formally every few weeks on batches of new applications.

Once you're a member you can get involved in FFII activities, which this site explains. If you're active, and people get to know you, you can ask to become an "active member", which usually means turning up at the yearly general assembly. Active members get to vote at general assemblies, stand for the board, etc.
