Donate money to the FFII.
How this helps
The FFII has no wealthy backers, it runs off membership fees and donations. We use the money to pay expenses like travel and phone costs, infrastructure (system administration and accounting), events (conferences, demos), and some key projects (like Gauss, the database of software patents). We also send money to affiliates around the world to help them get organised.
Explanation
The NoOOXML site has a nice page explaining how to make a donation. It's not as easy as it could be, with Europe's complex mess of old banking systems. If you live outside Europe or in a country with a strong national FFII affiliate, we prefer you donate directly to the affiliate. And, get involved, to make sure your money is used wisely.
